Hey, I'm the lead developer of xinput_calibrator, the generic touchscreen calibrator for X.org.
You can find deb packages for lucid in my ppa (can upload it for other releases too...): https://launchpad.net/~tias/+archive/xinput-calibrator-ppa I've also submitted the package to debian-mentors as to get it in unstable. It would be even greater if ubuntu would accept it themselves before their freeze deadline !
