What packages did you update to break this? It looks like you recently upgraded to the -24 kernel; does booting into the -23 kernel in GRUB fix the problem?
Did you try switching VTs in the same session you filed this bug? There's no indication in the logs that a VT switch was requested. If you didn't try switching, please try again and then upload the output of dmesg and /var/log/Xorg.0.log. Please also run 'sudo intel_reg_dumper > intel_reg_dumper1.txt' on a fresh boot. Then try switching VTs and run 'sudo intel_reg_dumper > intel_reg_dumper2.txt'. Then upload both files to this report. If you can find a working configuration (like using a different kernel), it'd be helpful if you could do the same procedure as above on that configuration too. ** Changed in: xserver-xorg-video-intel (Ubuntu) Status: Confirmed => Incomplete ** Summary changed: - CTR + ALT + F1 (actually all of the terminals) not working + [gm45] CTR + ALT + F1 (actually all of the terminals) not working -- [gm45] CTR + ALT + F1 (actually all of the terminals) not working https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/613349 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
