I want to confirm this bug (if it is indeed the same) with following additional informations.
Notebook model: FujitsuSiemens Amilo Li2727 with a AR5001 Wireless Network. Distro: Lycid Lynx My observations of "sometimes" 1. after real shutdown: ath5k module works 2. after soft reboot: ath5k module is hard blocked 3. after suspend to ram: ath5k module works 4. after suspend to disk: ath5k module is hard blocked I tried 1 and 2 several times. Hard blocked means with rfkill list. Additional information: ------------------------------- I compiled an additional Kernel module called acerhk. It turns on led and card in /etc/rc.local on startup. I need that because the FN - F1 doesn't work at all and there is no on/off switch for the wlan. -- wi-fi recognized but sometimes is not enabled https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/459625 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
