Hi, thanks for the replies. It has happened twice to me now. First time, I spent a long time trying to fix it, but fixed it by reinstalling ALSA at last.
This time, I tried that but it didn't work. It just randomly started working 5 minutes ago! The cause of the bug was that I pressed the mute hotkey on my computer. I then turned mute off again, but the sound stayed off.
