Public bug reported: Binary package hint: boinc
I'm running Maverick Alpha 3, fully updated as of 2010-08-15. I've installed the meta-package "boinc" version 6.10.58+dfsg-2. The menubar fails to appear in the Advanced Interface. Running "boincmgr" from the command line gives the following: (boincmgr:5214): GLib-GObject-CRITICAL **: g_object_set: assertion `G_IS_OBJECT (object)' failed (boincmgr:5214): GLib-GObject-CRITICAL **: g_object_set: assertion `G_IS_OBJECT (object)' failed (boincmgr:5214): GLib-GObject-CRITICAL **: g_object_set: assertion `G_IS_OBJECT (object)' failed (boincmgr:5214): GLib-GObject-CRITICAL **: g_object_set: assertion `G_IS_OBJECT (object)' failed (boincmgr:5214): GLib-GObject-CRITICAL **: g_object_set: assertion `G_IS_OBJECT (object)' failed (boincmgr:5214): GLib-GObject-CRITICAL **: g_object_set: assertion `G_IS_OBJECT (object)' failed Besides the missing menubar (and disabled menubar keyboard shortcuts), the rest of the UI appears to be working fine. Screenshot attached. ** Affects: boinc (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- The menubar doesn't appear in BOINC Manager (Advanved Interface) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/618264 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
