Hi, I'm come from the Forum-Thread above and have the same problem (Kubuntu 10.4, KDE 4.5, NvidiaBinaryDriver). The only way i can log in is with the recovery mode (as root), and "startx". The method with the disabled plymouth works for me, thanks! How can i disable it for ever?
