Hi ron,

Sorry about your problem. To fix it, please open up a Terminal
(Applications>Accessories>Terminal) and type in:

sudo dpkg --configure -a

Then it should ask for your password, please type it in and don't worry
you won't receive any visual feedback.

I hope this helps. As for the report, this doesn't seem like a bug in
software-center and so I am closing the bug report. If you feel as
though it is and I have made a mistake, please reopen the bug, stating
further details on why you think there is a bug. Thanks :)
