Charlie, Booting either 10.04LTS or 10.10 latest development release LiveCD, does not recognize any audio CD.
When Xubuntu 9.04 on the HDD is used it recognizes one audio CD (since I had it upgrade earlier, one of the packages knocked out seeing two audio CDs). data CDs placed in the two drives are readable and auto mount like expected. this is using the same hardware.
