Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gnome-control-center

Having several keyboard layouts configured, by pressing the keys to
change layouts (generally both 'Alt' keys together), the layout changes,
but the gnome-keyboard-preferences applet does not show the current
layout as before. It'd be nice if the changes was made obvious,
somehow.
