Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: software-center

I downloaded and opened the Adobe Flash APT package from Adobe.com and
after I clicked "install" I caught a glimpse of "Installing" which
promptly vanished and then there was no indication if the package had
actually installed or not as there was no visual indication (like the
button labelled "install" switching to read "remove") this was very
confusing behaviour.
