This is probably fairly straightforward to glue into partman-auto; it can use /usr/lib/base-installer/dmi-available-memory if it's available (though if and when we get round to merging this upstream, that's not really a great place for it).
After this, no change to ubiquity beyond a routine update to the new partman-auto should be needed. ** Package changed: base-installer (Ubuntu Maverick) => partman-auto (Ubuntu Maverick) ** Changed in: ubiquity (Ubuntu Maverick) Assignee: Evan Dandrea (ev) => (unassigned) ** Changed in: partman-auto (Ubuntu Maverick) Importance: Undecided => High ** Changed in: partman-auto (Ubuntu Maverick) Assignee: (unassigned) => Colin Watson (cjwatson) ** Changed in: ubiquity (Ubuntu Maverick) Status: New => Invalid ** Changed in: ubiquity (Ubuntu Maverick) Importance: High => Undecided ** Changed in: partman-auto (Ubuntu Maverick) Status: New => In Progress -- [Maverick] 32bit Ubuntu installer not calculating swap correctly for PAE systems https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/604765 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
