Question on this bug. Would it also effect a usb wireless adapter that uses the rt2870.sta driver? It seems I can't use WPA / WPA2 security on my router. I haven't tried the fixes / patches suggested at http://www.linuxquestions.org/questions/linux-networking-3/ubuntu-10-04-wont-actually-connect-to-wireless-network-822323/ (It's 5 pages long, so have patience.)
