Same problem here with Kubuntu 10.04 and KDE 4.5 on both 32- and 64-bit platforms. My machine shuts down every time but FS doesn't unmount cleanly. I added lsof to /etc/init.d/umountfs like this -
... # Unmount local filesystems lsof > /home/wizard/Documents/lsof.txt # if [ "$WEAK_MTPTS" ]; then... and have attached the output. ** Attachment added: "output of lsof during shutdown" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/sysvinit/+bug/616287/+attachment/1507692/+files/lsof.txt -- umountfs doesn't cleanly unmount / on reboot https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/616287 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
