Attached psmouse.ko module based on latest patch by Andrew; this version has tapping disabled via modified extra bits. I suppose mainly GlidePoint users are negatively impacted by touchpad's hypersensitivity (#147), so we'd better turn tapping off.
If this patch is going to go to the mainline kernel, it should be made clear how to control the extra bits of IMPS mode settings from a userspace program (synclient?). ** Attachment added: "psmouse.ko; 2.6.35-17-generic (x86-64); tapping disabled" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/550625/+attachment/1507816/+files/psmouse.ko -- Alps touchpad is recognized but synaptics clients and scrolling do not work https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/550625 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
