Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-power-manager
When two people are logged into my ThinkPad X61, sometimes Ubuntu refuses to suspend using the keystroke fn+f4, which is the normal way. The message is "Your computer failed to suspend. The failure was reported as: Cannot suspend" which by the way is also a rather pointless and uninformative message. However, if I use the mouse to select suspend from the menu in the upper right corner of the panel, it works fine. So the problem is obviously with the handling of the function key.
