No. I have a laptop with an NVidia GeForce 440 Go, and cube works great, as long as I manually set desktops to 1 and hsize to 4 via gconf. So, PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the real issue, at least for me, was that the gconf values were not being modified correctly. When I edited them manually, as checking the box *should* do, everything worked fine. I don't understand the argument that there is a "bug" in the NVidia driver when everything worked great after I made the changes manually.
