I think the problem is that no-one feels that they have the authority to
make a final decision. A survey would choose for us, but I agree that
it's a lot of messing around for little gain.

This bug is 44 comments long already. I say that we decide on "rubbish
bin" and just leave it at that. This term is clear and unambiguous, and
is in common, modern British usage.

I'm marking this bug as fixed from the Doc Team: the recommended term is
now "Rubbish Bin". Dissent at your peril!
