Binary package hint: gnome-games
The game "Mines" responds slowly in Ubuntu 10.04 x64. The same game on
the same machine responded lightning quick on Fedora 13 x64.
System:
Intel Core2-Quad
8 GB RAM
nVidia GeForce 9600GT using nVidia's Drivers
Ubuntu 10.04.1 LTS
Mines 2.30.0
It makes no difference if desktop effects are enabled or not. Starting
the game from the command line gives absolutely no errors or warnings.
