Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: checkbox

When I start System Testing (/usr/bin/checkbox-gtk and also
System->Administration menu), it shows me a screen, I click "next", and
then the activity bar dialog comes up and it just stays like that
continuously. I can still move the main window around and resize it, but
I can't close it.

If I may be presumptive, I think the problem lies with permissions. When
I click "next", a taskbar item comes up displaying "Starting
Administrative..." but then quickly closes. I think the system realises
that as a Guest account I don't have authorisation to run this
operation, but instead of quitting outright or showing up an
Administrative password dialogue, it just hangs continuously, quitting
part of the application but leaving the rest running.
