It so happens that I was also due to do that upgrade one of my systems
after reinstalling it with yesterday's Maverick ISO. Unfortunately, I
can't reproduce the issue, either before or after rebooting the system
after the upgrade.
Felix, please see above and confirm the previous questions. If you could
attach an excerpt of your .xsession-errors file as well, that would be
ideal.
