As a workaround for Ubuntu 10.04, it is also possible to fix the mime type for a single user by creating file .local/share/mime/packages/kile.xml in the user's home directory.
The correct file can be extracted from the updated package (kile_2.1.0~svn1112278beta4-2ubuntu1_i386.deb): $ mkdir temp $ dpkg -X kile_2.1.0~svn1112278beta4-2ubuntu1_i386.deb temp/ $ mkdir -p ~/.local/share/mime/packages $ cp temp/usr/share/mime/packages/kile.xml ~/.local/share/mime/packages $ update-mime-database ~/.local/share/mime/ -- *.kilepr file association missing https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/580401 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to kile in ubuntu. -- kubuntu-bugs mailing list kubuntu-b...@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/kubuntu-bugs
