Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: network-manager

To connect to our wireless network at QUT, we have to follow the
instructions at
http://www.itservices.qut.edu.au/connectoncampus/wireless/userguides/linux.jsp,
which involves entering our username and password alongside selecting a
downloaded certificate file (also available at the previous link).

This works fine to connect the first time, but upon reset or if you need
to reconnect for some reason, network-manager (or whatever handles this)
forgets the location of the downloaded certificate. You have to wait for
the non-certificate connection to time-out before you can provide the
certificate file again. It then works fine until the next time you need
to reconnect.
