Hi Flossgeek, There's more to this stuff than meets the eye, when I connect (wireless) to our wireless router with a file share client (bit comet etc) it will break the effective connection though it will still show a running ok in the task bar. This happens in both Windows and Ubuntu, if I take a cable and connect to the wireless router all is well. This presumably has nothing directly to do with the Ubuntu wireless but is none the less weird. Best regards /melvyn
