Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: openoffice.org

None of the openoffice.org applications fully run when executed by any
means.

Although the System Monitor shows multiple processes of these
applications as sleeping (soffice, oosplash.bin, ooffice).

It seems that each time an application of openoffice.org is called a set
of the same processes are started. (i.e. 10 instances of ooffice,
oosplash.bin and soffice processes running at the same time)
