Hi, sorry for the late reply, no this situation hasn't reoccurred since, and I don't really remember anymore details then the ones I've posted I'm afraid. I do still have the problem of my screen turning black when I close the lid of my laptop though. I posted this as 'monitor fallout' with the bugs. It's very annoying, since I can't do anything but rebooting. I also noticed that for the timezone Brussels, Europe, I had to manually change the clock to summer hour.
