** Description changed:

  Binary package hint: openoffice.org

I have installed the debug symbols for openoffice.org-*, however I seem
to be having issues installing the symbols for the UNO runtime
  environment.

The problem is this: I've installed the dbgsyms from ddebs.ubuntu.org
for Lucid, which is great, however if you look at bug 626755 you'll
  notice that if you review
  http://launchpadlibrarian.net/54675668/backtrace.log that there are
missing symbols for libuno_sal.so.3 and libuno_sal.so.3.

  So I did the following:

-
- ch...@ubuntu:~/src$ dpkg -S /usr/lib/libuno_sal.so.3
+ ch...@ubuntu:~/src$ dpkg -S /usr/lib/libuno_sal.so.3
  uno-libs3: /usr/lib/libuno_sal.so.3
- ch...@ubuntu:~/src$ dpkg -S /usr/lib/libuno_cppu.so.3
+ ch...@ubuntu:~/src$ dpkg -S /usr/lib/libuno_cppu.so.3
  uno-libs3: /usr/lib/libuno_cppu.so.3

Fine then, I'll install the uno-libs3 debug package - there is no dbgsym
package for these libraries. But I get the following:

  ch...@ubuntu:~/src$ sudo apt-get install uno-libs3-dbg

The only answer here is NO!

The obvious issue here is that we are missing relevant and important URE
symbols in the stacktrace, however if we try to install these symbols
- via apt-get then we have to install the other dbgsym packages.
+ via apt-get then we have to uninstall the other dbgsym packages.

I don't really think that this should be an either/or proposition!

Is there anyway you could provide a uno-libs3-dbgsym package?
