I'm using a Macbook 6,1 with all extra drivers installed as described in
the Ubuntu help website's guide. I've noticed that the screensaver
function (as part of lock screen, or otherwise) only works when you are
plugged into wall power. If you are running on battery, the screen just
blanks, but no screensaver is launched. However, manually launching a
screensaver binary works as expected, so this is not a bug in a
particular screensaver.
