Same problem to me. As I found on http://forum.ubuntu.ru/index.php?topic=111757.0;all, it affects certain users with english/russian layouts. After some hours of usage get this strange behaviour that makes impossible any input. Seems like two instances of keyboard layouts are running at the same time, so russian and english (and in my case french) inputs get mixed.
