Linux version 2.6.35-20-generic (bui...@berkelium) (gcc version 4.4.3 (Ubuntu 4.4.3-4ubuntu5) ) #29~lucid1-Ubuntu SMP Tue Sep 7 13:27:10 UTC 2010 (Ubuntu 2.6.35-20.29~lucid1-generic 2.6.35.4) As per #141, no X graphics on internal panel. Fn+F8 to switch displays doesn't effect any control over which display is active. External monitor is detected (but only if plugged in during Linux boot) & X display present on that monitor. Menu -> System -> Preferences -> Monitors exhibits inconsistent behaviour. After previous reboot it did detect both displays & it was poss to turn "Seiko" panel display on/off - NB only backlight evident. Left panel in off state, power-down, booted again - only external monitor found. Internal not found and backlight off. >From System Testing applet: The following screens and video modes have been detected on your system: Screen 0: minimum 320 x 200, current 1024 x 768, maximum 8192 x 8192 VGA1 connected 1024x768+0+0 (normal left inverted right x axis y axis) 304mm x 228mm 1024x768 60.0*+ 75.1 800x600 75.0 60.3 640x480 75.0 60.0 720x400 70.1 DP1 disconnected (normal left inverted right x axis y axis) HDMI1 disconnected (normal left inverted right x axis y axis) DP2 disconnected (normal left inverted right x axis y axis) HDMI2 disconnected (normal left inverted right x axis y axis) DP3 disconnected (normal left inverted right x axis y axis) -- [i915] blank screen on Latitude E6410 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/561802 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
