I've done another test: 1. kill gvfs-gphoto2-volume-monitor 2. launch rhythmbox --> gvfs-gphoto2-volume-monitor gets launched 3. kill gvfs-gphoto2-volume-monitor 4. play music --> does so 5. turn on camera --> watch how the rhythmbox GUI turns gray (unresponsive) and track position stalls (music goes on) 6. turn off camera --> the GUI comes back to color and the track position jumps
The results are puzzling to me: - even after killing gvfs-gphoto2-volume-monitor rhythmbox seems to respond to the camera - I could repeat steps 4 and 5 a couple of times within one track Rhythmbox is still running (as I click post). -- Error initializing camera: -60: Could not lock the device https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/331681 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
