Brian, do you have any idea why Fedora 13 (current kernel 2.6.34.6-54) is not affected by this bug? I have been wondering for some times now, why i855 notebooks were incompatible with 9.10, 10.04, 10.10, unless doing some workaround, but installed fine on Fedora 13 (I haven't tried any previous release).
