Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: unity

To reproduce:

Ensure that a keyboard shortcut is setup to launch a terminal:
1) Select Applications
2) Search for "Keyboard Shortcuts", and open the Keyboard Shortcuts preferences
3) Scroll down to "Run a Terminal", and set a shortcut using the 'windows key'
(I use Mod4+T)
4) Close the Keyboard Shortcuts preference window
5) Launch a terminal using the shortcut

When the shortcut is pressed, the screen flashes white, the unity panels
disappear, open windows lose their borders and move up and to the right.
After a short while (1-2 seconds), the new terminal appears, and unity
reloads.

UPDATE:
Upon further investigation, it appears that this is related to the Mod4 key.
When I press Mod4 and any other non-numeric key, unity restarts.

This may be related to #630407, however, I'm not making it a duplicate,
as this bug doesn't mention unity restarting.
