to me this whole extra address book for syncing seems like a totally broken 
system. but maybe I'm not getting the concept.
I too got the issues with duplicate entries and entries missing in my google 
account.

But besides that there is something I'm still not able to fully understand. 
When I started using Evolutions I've created e.g. some address books e.g. work, 
suppliers, friends, family ... where I stored my contacts.
Then I've started using Ubuntu One and Google Contacts sync - but am I supposed 
to sync between my existing (old) books by hand?
