Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-control-center
My monitor's native resolution is 1440x900. I would Ubuntu's login screen to be at that resolution. The problem is that while I can select that resolution from Display Properties and it works when I'm logged in, the applet's "Make Default" button has no effect on the login screen, it comes up at 1280x1024. I'm running Ubuntu Maverick Meerkat, my video adapter is AMD/ATI Radeon 9800 pro and I'm using the open-source drivers.
