@Martin Thanks, the https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/445852 seems relevant, if i disable dma on the drive it seems to be ok. So there is probably some broken blocks somewhere. Will follow your advice and zero the drive but i will probably just reinstall instead of trying to save the old installation. Question shouldn't erroneous blocks be visible with fsck from a live usb stick?
