Hi Leann, After upgrading my system, I've discovered that the cursor is back. I'm pretty sure it's the fbdev driver that restored the cursor, because the xorg-server containing that switch was one of the updates, and now my -20 kernel has a working cursor (it didn't before the upgrades).
