The problem seems to be in openchange or samba4.
I have the following related packages installed (running Maverick)

evolution-mapi 0.30.3-1ubuntu1 (I did an apt-get source
evolution-mapi, and dpkg-rebuild -uc -us -rfakeroot to get the dependencies
right (it seems like the packaged version depends on an old evolution), but
other than that it is standard).
When I enable the mapi account I first got an error to fetch the content of the
folders, then every attempt att starting evolution after that resulted in a
crash.
I run it in gdb and got the follwoing backtrace:
