Suggest setting priority even lower. Rdesktop w/out the raw patch does fix one problem, but it doesn't resolve all keyboard issues.
Remmina appears to be a much better solution for rdesktop client. Thanks to Robert Ancell for pointing me to Remmina and thanks to Vic Lee & company for putting Remmina together. The current Ubuntu Remmina uses rdesktop, but the keyboard appears to operate better. The current development version uses FreeRDP and resolves all keyboard issues (for me).
