Some info as a workaround: While firefox isn't running: # firefox -P Create a second profile ie. 2ndSetup In desktop :0.0 first open with: # firefox In desktop :0.1 second open with # firefox -no-remote -P 2ndSetup
If you close :0.0 firefox, then :0.1 will become dominant however. Can be worked around with -no-remote on that as well. Also if you update addons in one of them and ask firefox to restart then it'll just close firefox and open a new tab the other. -- Feature Request: Allow Firefox to work on multiple X11 screens https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/78538 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
