Some info as a workaround:
While firefox isn't running: # firefox -P
Create a second profile ie. 2ndSetup
In desktop :0.0 first open with: # firefox
In desktop :0.1 second open with # firefox -no-remote -P 2ndSetup

If you close :0.0 firefox, then :0.1 will become dominant however. Can be
worked around with -no-remote on that as well.
Also if you update addons in one of them and ask firefox to restart then it'll
just close firefox and open a new tab the other.
