Public bug reported: Binary package hint: software-center
Opening deb file in Software center, results in only opening the software center. There is no difference in double clicking a deb and opening the software center from the gnome menu, I say it might be related to #641349, but it does not show anything before showing the default menu at all. System: Maveric meerkat daily built(beta) 18 september fully updated fresh install.(meaning i did not upgrade from a previous version i downloaded the deb from the daily built and installed with install updates enabled in the installer this same hour) the deb i used: http://sourceforge.net/projects/webcamstudio/files/WebcamStudio4Linux/0.56/webcamstudio_0.56_all.deb/download I will be testing around a couple of hours so expect quick reply.
