This gets more ridiculous, I believe. The mailing list signature, without personalizing it, becomes :

This seems really long winded when you add the standard 4-5 lines people are already using. A one line message will become, what, about 10 lines now? And to reply to that message properly, requires you to delete at least 8 lines?
