The thing is if you do: <alt>-F1 <arrow down> g g
...you get the wanted result. Its related to how key strokes are interpreted within the gnome menu. If you do: <alt>-F1 s ..you'll get the "System" menu instead of "Sound and Video". "System" is wrong.
