We have a few fiddles to make sure GDM doesn't rocket off and make itself the owner of vt7 here but it remains to be seen if this is a real fix or just something we're going to use as a workaround. I've not seen it: just heard the results were pretty sound. I've patched rootstock in mostly the same way, which is nice to know (although I added other compression methods, so if I set it to lzma it adds lzma etc. - simply because while it takes longer to compress the archive I get 100MB less data to move around) -- maverick oem-config gtk frontend does not start on first boot because gdm runs before it https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/644638 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
