Frank: Yes, I can get it to work fine with a custom xorg.conf (listed in the attachments area)
Martin-Éric: I deleted my xorg.conf for testing and updated to 2.11.9-3 but it still defaults to 1024x768 with the only other options being 800x600 and 640x480. So no luck there!
