To resolve this error, simply edit the following file: sudo vim /etc/apcupsd/apcupsd.conf
Change "STATTIME" to some value greater than zero (0). As an example, I use STATTIME 60 -- gkrellmapcupsd https://launchpad.net/bugs/74126 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
