Public bug reported: reading the accelerometer values works well (for example with hdaps-gl from ubuntu package hdaps-utils) - but the harddisk head seems not to be parked.
There is a kernel patch required: http://www.thinkwiki.org/wiki/HDAPS Perhaps this could be integrated in ubuntu? if it's too experimental, is there a way to do this as loadable module or s.th.? ** Affects: Ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: Unconfirmed -- Thinkpad T60: Disk head parking doesn't work https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/102073 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
