Public bug reported:

1) Ubuntu 10.10
2) The sound system in general (not sure if it's pulse, alsa, etc.)
I just upgraded from 10.04 to the 10.10 Beta.
In doing so, I've completely lost sound. When I got to the sound preferences,
under the Hardware tab there are no devices listed.
I get the following when I run lspci:

00:1b.0 Audio device: Intel Corporation 82801FB/FBM/FR/FW/FRW (ICH6
Family) High Definition Audio Controller (rev 03)

and this when I run sudo lshw -C sound

*-multimedia
