Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: openoffice.org

How to reproduce bug:
Create new SlideShow with Impress, and anywhere on slide put two words joined
with non-breaking hyphen (Inserted through Insert → Formatting Mark →
Non-breaking hyphen). Everything looks normal until try to view slideshow.
Instead of two words joined with hyphen something strange is shown.

$ lsb_release -rd
Description:    Ubuntu maverick (development branch)
Release:        10.10

Also tried in lucid, the same problem.
