Public bug reported: Binary package hint: unity
Let's imagine that we have two files in the Recent files, that would match if I type "h". I type "h" in the Dash and they appear in Files & Folders. Once they have matched, if I keep typing "hhhhhhh", they shouldn't matched, but they keep appearing in the results pane. (see screenshot) This does not happen if they don't match the first time or with other type of objects (other files or applications), only with the files that are also in Recent Files. hhh ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 10.10 Package: unity 0.2.42-0ubuntu3 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.35-22.33-generic 2.6.35.4 Uname: Linux 2.6.35-22-generic x86_64 Architecture: amd64 Date: Fri Sep 24 13:49:37 2010 InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 10.10 "Maverick Meerkat" - Alpha amd64 (20100916) ProcEnviron: LANG=en_US.utf8 SHELL=/bin/bash SourcePackage: unity ** Affects: unity Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Affects: unity (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: amd64 apport-bug maverick ubuntu-une -- Dash always matches the recent files, once they have matched once https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/646756 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
