I've managed to install gtk2.0 2.21.8 by downloading it manually wget http://ftp.uk.debian.org/debian/pool/main/g/gtk+2.0/libgtk2.0-0_2.21.8-1_i386.deb sudo dpkg --install libgtk2.0-0_2.21.8-1_i386.deb
